Account Executive Role

The Role:

esbconnect’s Account Executives play a key role in the business as they are the connection between the company and its clients. The Account Executive is often the face of the business with keen client services and communication skills. The key function of this role is to drive and increase the company’s revenue streams, through managing and maintaining existing client accounts, working to targets set, supporting the account managers and actively looking for the next business /offer opportunity.

This role is suitable for someone looking to start work within the digital sector in a successful & fast growing company.

Job Role Fundamentals

  • Develop, maintain and extend relationships with client/contact base;
    • Take the lead on the accounts/verticals as assigned
    • Monitor and analyse performance reports to ensure client and business targets are being met.
    • Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, seeking new client/business opportunities.
    • Recommend new ideas, approaches to client and business.
    • Client engagement through delivery of services;
  • Agreeing contracts/ terms of engagement for running campaigns/offers.
  • Liaison with clients on new offers/ offer changes.
  • Working with clients to analyze performance and optimize campaign delivery
  • Working closely with internal teams for efficient delivery of services to clients;
  • Work closely with Ops scheduling to implement effective scheduling strategy
  • Co-ordinate testing for campaigns, subject lines, creatives, landing pages, A/B split testing
  • Work closely with the design team on any bespoke design briefs. Generating new briefs to improve campaign performance
  • Research competition, products, and industry trends. Actively share any knowledge gained through research with immediate and wider team.
  • Proactively work to achieve internal, individual goals and objectives set.

Job Role

We are looking for somebody with the desire to earn as much money as possible, with that entrepreneurial spark, which has the drive to do, not wait what to be told to do.

As the business development executive you will be the face of the company and be responsible for driving new sales. You need to be hungry for results but never want to over-sell and under deliver. You will be responsible for building a solid sales pipeline, pitching to new clients, formulating proposals and closing deals. You will proactively prospect new clients, as well as following up warm leads. Your key performance indicator will be the new business revenue that you generate.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Programmatic and social revenue on new email platform
  • Drive revenue across our first party data sets
  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with Agencies and Advertisers
  • Proactively initiate deals, and negotiate and fulfil incoming requests
  • Setup agreed deals in the platform.
  • Analyse why a deal may not be delivering as expected, find solution and execute.
  • Analyse performance data generated by the company to ascertain what sectors and brands are working and use this to develop a sale’s pipeline and produce relevant marketing material.
  • Work with other inventory providers, to maximise a client’s Ad Spend through us
  • Use previous campaign data to predict trends and patterns to develop actionable insights for use on future campaigns.
  • Closely monitor deal performance and be proactive in addressing new opportunities.
  • Help develop new sales collateral.
  • Work closely with the team to optimize revenue, client’s performance, and provide insights into best practices
